2nd Degree Black Belt

Ryann is a Currumbin/ Palm Beach local and the founder of Rhythm Jiu Jitsu. Since 2008 when he began training the martial art. Ryann has competed and medalled consistently at state, national and international levels. Jiu Jitsu is one of Ryann’s passions, especially teaching where he can share this beautiful martial art and sport to others.

  • Joel Crowle (Black Belt)

    COACH

    Joel has been training Jiu Jitsu for 10 years and has achieved the rank of black belt. Joel has competed extensively, with his major competitive achievements being a no-gi gold medal at the Australian Nationals as a blue belt in 2016, gold at the IBJJF Sydney Open no-gi as a purple belt, and more recently earning silver in the Grappling Industries Melbourne absolute no-gi division (all belt levels, all weights) in 2019. Joel currently runs his own electrical business.

  • Ben Veal (Black Belt)

    CO-OWNER AND COACH

    Ben has been training Jiu Jitsu for 12 years and has achieved the rank of black belt. Ben has previously earned a black belt in Taekwondo and has trained in boxing for 3-4 years. Ben has earned gold at the NSW Winter Cup, gold and silver at the Sunshine Coast Open and recently silver at the NSW State Championship. Ben is currently completing a degree in Sports and Exercise Science where he is working toward becoming an accredited Exercise Physiologist. Ben is currently working as a physical trainer out of ACTV Strength Co.

  • Kogar Cetinich (Purple Belt)

    CO-OWNER AND COACH

    Kogar has been training Jiu Jitsu for 4 and a half years and is the first student to achieve the rank of purple belt at Rhythm. Kogar has medalled in numerous local and state tournaments. His most recent being Gold at the NSW State Championship. Kogar is a dedicated Jiu Jitsu practitioner and an Electrical Project Manager.
