Fundamentals

Our Fundamental classes are tailored for students entirely new to Jiu Jitsu as well as higher ranked students wanting to refresh their basics. These classes focus on the fundamental movements and techniques of Jiu Jitsu. Students will be introduced to Jiu Jitsu for self defence and will learn about safety when training Jiu Jitsu.

All Levels

Our All Levels classes are focused on providing a class which caters to students of all belt levels. Students will be provided both beginner and advanced options of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu movements and techniques so that all students can improve in their study of Jiu Jitsu. Advanced students are able to focus on a deeper study of movements and techniques of Jiu Jitsu, with an emphasis on developing a capacity for self-directed problem solving.

Leg locks

Leg locks are an integral part of modern Jiu Jitsu due to the effectiveness, this topic is broad and complex. Leg locking techniques can be trained safely but are dangerous when not understood, for this reason our general requirement to attend leg lock classes is a minimum rank of white belt 4 stripes. Regardless of belt rank, our Coaches will assess your situational awareness prior to any live type drilling/ sparring.

Gi

Gi classes are those where students wear the traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu uniform known as the Gi.

Submission Grappling (No-Gi)

No-Gi classes are those where students wear the uniform of grappling shorts and a rash guard.

open mat

This is an open session of sparring. These classes do not have coach-guided technical instruction.

drills (Free/guided)

Guided drills is a timeslot where the instructor teaches combinations of related techniques and pathways for the entirety of the class.
