Rhythm’s first year of competition

And that’s a wrap on Rhythm’s first year of competitive Jiu Jitsu. Whilst I would never say that competition is the focus of our academy, nevertheless, it’s a great way for students to set themselves a challenge, apply themselves to that goal, and muster up the courage to step into an anxiety rich experience. The lessons learned from that process are invaluable.

I’m proud to say that over this first competitive year the team has walked away with 18 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. Our little club has arrived. A big congratulations to all the students that applied themselves and showed up to do a difficult thing.

I cannot wait to see where we are going to take this in 2024. Thank you team!
